Hello my dears!!
This week I'm doing the Friday Night Movies Fever!! Sofia G. and I switch our duties this week. She made a review of a book and I'm doing the movie part instead of a series.
But I have to confess that I haven't been watching a lot of movies, probably because I'm watching too much series. But tonight I'm talking about one that has touch me somehow.
Cast: Rachel McAdams as Paige Collins
Channing Tatum as Jeremy Collins
Sam Neill as Bill Thorthon
Synopsis : A car accident puts Paige (McAdams) in a coma, and when she wakes up with severe memory loss, her husband Leo (Tatum) works to win her heart again.
I'm not going to rate this movie, because for me it wasn't about the quality of the movie or about the actor that I liked this movie.
This movie was based on a true life story and that alone was good for me.
And this is how it began: Paige and Leo were having a fun night at the theater and on their way home they have a brutal car accident. Paige was really injured and went to coma. Then we see a flashback of when they met each other, their wedding.. And then we are back at the hospital, Paige is awake and she doesn't remember Leo.
In this particular moment I found myself asking "what if this happend to me?" I mean, can you imagine how that must feel to lose your memory or a fraction of it. In this story she remembers her life before she met Leo, but nothing after that. An then there's her struggle to regain it, his desperation because she can't remember it.
And I could keep talking about this movie, but I don't want to spoil any of it for you, in case you haven't seen it.
It's not the greatest movie of all time, but I certantly enjoy it, cry a little (and I don't do that a lot), and I recommend it.
Hope you guys like it as I did!!
