Walking Through the Woods

It looks Saint Peter liked Portugal, and parked he's rainy cloud upon us, never to leave. Man, I'm sick of rain! And the worst of all is that this month it rained so much that I almost couldn't make a sampling! You wonder what of this need I have for mosses. I'm doing a montlhy sampling of a place that burned on august of last year. I want to see as the weather get better (supposedly), if the community of Tardigrades grown, and let me see a little bit of the Tardigrades life cycle. It hasn't been easy, because the mosses are so few in the burnt place, and I have to catch 3 gr of mosses per sample.
But today, I had a bit of lucky and it stopped rainnig for about an half hour. So I changed my clothes, grabbed my cousin and went sampling mosses. And it was an adventure. You see as I said here, I have a stupif fobia for bees and relateds. So today, there was a BIIIIIGGGGGGGG bee that really loved our company and couldn't leave from our side. Trully, we walked away from the place that she appeared in the first place and somehow she found us again. I even done some jogging runing away from her. She loved the plastic bag where I was putting the mosses, and wanted so much.
After a long time trying running away from these "beast", it started to rain. But it was very light, so we could still walk around to find more moss. It's amazing how with this terrible weather the nature still find his way, trying to emerge, calling for the spring. I saw the first ladybug of the year.
The forest it's sill with a lot of mushrooms, fighting the drizzling and the storms.
And then it started to rain for really and we had to hurry up, and go to home. I still had time to catch some flowers to the herbarium I trying to make. These walks makes me cry even more for some sun, to see more life in the nature. I'm hoping that April will be a better month!
